Dear Friends,
The Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation grants wishes for
men and women with terminal breast cancer. Those of you who have
read my THE PINK MAGNOLIA CLUB know that this organization holds
a special place in my heart.
Since the novel's publication in 2002, my involvement with the
foundation has grown. I'm now a member of Making Memories' national
Board of Directors and I'm working on a special non-fiction book
project for them called the One Good Turn project.
We haven't made the official announcement about One Good Turn
yet, so I can't say too much about it. However, I didn't want to
leave it out of the website redesign entirely since it's such a
special project for me. I'll just mention (okay, drop) a few other
names of people who have been involved with Making Memories...Oprah
Winfrey, Bill Gates, Faith Hill.
There, did I intrigue you?
Until One Good Turn off and running, I invite you to learn more
about the Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation by visiting
www.makingmemories.org.
Be sure to check out our newest program, The Pink Envelope Project,
that offers a special way for everyone to help.
Best wishes,
Geralyn |
